Take care of simple home maintenance to-dos. Save time and money by taking care of maintenance items that potential buyers may bring up. Not only will you have more control, say, if you want to DIY it, but you'll save time in the long run by not having these things hold up the negotiation process. Here a few suggested tasks:
Fix any broken shelving, hinges, doors
Check flooring for loose boards, creaks
Clean vents
Ensure alarm system is working OK
Check all windows are secure and leak free
Clean drains
Clean guttering
