Will I need to put my existing possessions in storage to prepare for home staging?

This is dependent on the number and size of things you have around the home. In the consultation phase, we'll determine what can stay and what should go. A lot of the time, we can put these items away in the garage, but if they are larger items, like furniture, storage may need to be an option. In occupied home staging projects, we do try to use as much of the owner's furniture as much as possible.

How much does home staging cost?

Staging costs vary widely based on size, style of the home, and what is required to showcase the home best. Occupied home staging, where we integrate your existing furniture with our inventory, is very affordable and usually costs between $250-$500. Vacant home staging, where we bring in all of the furniture and decor can be more costly. Feel free to contact us for an estimate!

Why do I need home staging?

Your house may be perfectly furnished and decorated in your mind, but that doesn't mean that all potential homebuyers will agree. Homes are like fingerprints, unique to you, and because of that, they can become very personal spaces over time, which doesn't necessarily appeal to the masses. Home stagers, like Staging Dallas, come in as an unbiased 3rd party to increase your home appeal to as many people as possible. The more people that are interested in your home, the more offers you'll receive on your home, and the faster the sale.

How does home staging work?

After you fill out our contact form and provide some detail about your situation, we'll start discussing options for your home. This could be as simple as a consultation, where you are seeking advice on what to do to stage your home yourself, it could be an owner-occupied scenario where we work with your existing furniture to stage, or, it could be a vacant home project where we strategize the staging, utilize our inventory and do the heavy lifting. Depending on your budget or how much you want to spend, home staging may be throughout your entire home or select rooms.

These are just a few of many questions you may have before hiring us, and we're ready to answer any additional questions to make you feel good about choosing Staging Dallas! Fill out the contact form here and we hope to work with you soon.
