We live in an online world and gone are the times of seeing one photo of a home and then requesting to see it in person. Your first and only impression lies in the online listing. If your photos aren't well lit at the very least, you might want to consider hiring a professional photographer to come in and update your photos. We love a good iPhone photo, but if a professional isn't behind the lens, it will show!

Your Real Estate Agent Doesn't Care

Being a Dallas Real Estate Agent is a tough gig, no doubt. It is essentially a 24/7 job and if your real estate agent is juggling a lot of clients, you may not be top of their priority list. If you have a hard time getting a hold of them and they appear to be neglectful, it might be time to break up and move on (to another agent, that is).

It's Overpriced

We may currently be in a seller's market, but that doesn't mean you should be overconfident in pricing your home. Make sure your home is comparable to other homes in your neighborhood (considering updates, amenities, and improvements). If you find that your home is priced too high, you can always take it off of the market and re-list.

It Looks Outdated

We know it feels like biting the bullet to replace old, outdated appliances and furniture with new ones to give your listing a little boost. However, statistics show that it does pay off in the long run. That white fridge could put an interested buyer over the edge by making them feel like they will need to do a lot of work to the home.
