Is a Bathroom Remodel Worth the Cost?

Remodeling Magazine had a fantastic summary document about what remodeling trends of 2020. This year, people have seen about on average, about 64% of their costs recouped from a remodel. That's means the average cost of a mid-range bathroom remodel is $21,377. You'd recoup about $13,680 (64%) of that amount during a resale.

So what does that mean for the actual sale? Well, lucky for you, Staging Dallas just helped out with staging a home and consulting on the bathroom remodel and the results are jaw-dropping!

This home in Rowlett was listed on a Friday, and by the following Tuesday, it was under contract $20,000 over listing price.

As you can see in these before and after photos, the bathroom was dated with floral wallpaper, glass tiles, gold accents on the shower and tile. By tearing down the wallpaper, adding some contrast with paint and hardware on the cabinets and installing a completely new shower and tub, the bathroom looks more modern and more spacious.
